Where to Shop in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia?

Recently I had a short shopping trip in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
And, now I'm going to share where you can shop for a much local experience.
Other than tourist attraction KLCC Petronas and Jalan Petaling Chinatown, there's more places to Shop and eat. Personally, i find Jalan Petaling too commercialize these days and kind of turn off to shop around that area.

I was so excited about coming to Bukit Bintang in KL, Malaysia because it has a huge range of things to shop. Along the entire stretch of Bukit Bintang are all shopping malls (Just like our Singapore's Orchard road). Shopping malls are side by side of each other along Bukit Bintang stretch.

I think the MUST GO malls are first, Pavilion.

Pavilion is one of the much Grand shopping mall in KL, it is often visit by both local and tourist. They have also some nice decor walls for OOTDs seasonally. In the basement, it have wide range of food for us to enjoy. I personally came for this! Soft Srve Icecream:
What's more in Pavilion is their Tokyo Street on the Upper level where you can shop for Japan goodies as well as other unique goodies. Such as this Marimo Terrarium:
Next shopping mall would be Berjaya Times Square, it is a man's fear shopping mall. Purely for female. A KL male friend of mine described it just like a nightmare for every husband or boyfriend, because this mall is not only huge but it's 8th storey high of shopping! It is also a cheap place to get your sport shoes. Sadly I've got my pairs at Uptown D'Kota aka Uptown Kota Damansara Pasar Malam. Why Sad? Because I bought it happily, but ended up seeing the same pair of shoe at Berjaya Times Square with a so much cheaper price even without bargain. So yes, please buy your shoes at Berjaya Times Square.

Uptown D'Kota aka Uptown Kota Damansara is a Pasar Malam that local goes in the midnight. It's a pretty popular past time in KL for families to shop in the midnight there. I was pretty surprised. However, most of the things there are much more expensive than shopping malls (although it is NOT a tourist attraction place). People are just there mainly for makan and for its local nightlife experience. There are wide range of food, which also surprising to see Chocolate Fondue in Pasar Malam.

Also, Baby Sugar glider Pets for sale. They are sleeping sweet and sound.
Talking about Nightlife, if you love going to drink... Pavilion have some nice pub on the Ground level, nice ambiance too. Along Jalan Alor have a few pubs that both local & tourist goes too.

Next, Mid Valley Mega mall is much known for locals and is one of the more popular malls for its abundance of affordable shopping. Moreover, there are also a high end luxury section of the mall. It is just across a connecting passageway, it's call "The Gardens Mall".

If you're going for a much much cheaper option for shopping, a MUST GO is Sungei Wang Plaza. It sells varieties of items from souvenirs to fashion accessories. It may not be the best mall to buy your OOTD outfit but it's one of the most affordable mall you can find around the place.
